Strategic Plan Task Force Report and Inventory

At the request of your Congregational Council, a Strategic Plan Task Force was convened to review and inventory Federated's 2004 strategic plan goals and accomplishmments. That task force has produced two engaging retrospective documents:

which includes summary analyses and offers suggestions toward furthuring the goals prescribed by the congregational 2004 strategic plan, and a comprehensive attachment with more-specific details about those goals and our progress toward realizing them:

These two documents are works in progress and will be revised with your help and encouragement. Please contact Carolyn Jones with corrections and suggestions!

Federated's Got Talent and Heart!

The first Federated's Got Talent show on Wednesday, August 5, 2009 was an overwhelming success!

It included fourteen performances, seventeen different people displaying products of their talent, great frozen treats courtesy of Gibson's Shaved Ice, delicious homemade desserts, and an enthusiastic crowd filling Trimmer Hall for an entertaining evening. Who knew that Federated had such varied talents?

The most exciting aspect of the evening is that $570 was collected toward our children's mission commitment to Heifer International. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the great event!
