Pentecost Sunday, May 19, 10:30 am:  Worship, Grad & Teacher Recognition

Poured Out and Overflowing is the title of Rev. Williams' message from Acts 2:1-21 on this Pentecost Sunday.  Pastor John writes: God pours out the Holy Spirit onto those who believe, enabling us to catch a vision of God's dream for humankind.  This is the story of Pentecost.
Today we recognize our graduates and teachers, our lay worship leader is Milo Mills, and we welcome a visit from our Director of Music candidate, Jeanne Wilhelm.
After worship, join us in Trimmer Hall for the traditional Pentecost Sunday strawberries feast!

Disciples 2013
General Assembly

Let Us Pray...

Four of our youth recently helped make THIS VIDEO to promote the General Assembly of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).  Aunika Stallings, Luke Wert, Ben Pekarek, and Matt Pekarek prayed the Lord's Prayer.  They are blended with other youth from around the area.  They did us proud; it is a beautiful and touching video.  What an outstanding job, guys!

The theme for the General Assembly is Teach us to Pray.  You can see a large version of the video on our website by clicking HERE.  For information about the General Assembly or to see a smaller version of the video, click the logo on the left.
